SELENA - Iowa City West Senior

I love sessions with variety and Selena achieved just that. We started out at the U of Iowa’s Recreation and Wellness Center which has some great architecture and greenery that went perfect with her red top. I made Selena get in the ivy and rub shoulders with spiders…literally…but it was worth it. These are some of my faves from her session.  Selena loves everything 90’s, especially the decade’s rock bands (we might be kindred spirits) and she brought her denim jacket embellished with her favorite band patches. What better place to go than the back alley of a music venue in downtown Iowa City (Gabe’s Iowa City)? It’s one of my favorite locations and I’m often dodging band members unloading their gear for sound check. Selena’s boyfriend even made an appearance! Did you know you can bring your bestie for a pic during your session?

We needed a change of pace and had to find some great summer flowers to contrast Selena’s sparkly purple gown. She rocked this look and wasn’t afraid to venture into closed off trails and tall (buggy) grasses.  For the grand finally we headed to the beach and got a little wet and sandy. This was a popular look this year and I couldn’t get enough! The Coralville Lake and Dam area is perfect for all the nature vibes.  THANKS Selena for an awesome session and being an Influencer this year!
