I’m Jaimy...your go-to senior photographer in Iowa City...and yes, I’m the one who will hype you up, fix your collar, blast good music, and get those bold, vibrant portraits that feel like you. I’m a down-to-earth creative with a sassy streak, a soft spot for anyone figuring out who they are, and absolutely zero fear of being a lovable weirdo if it helps you relax on camera.

I believe portraits should do more than look cool; they should boost confidence, celebrate identity, and show the world the real human in front of the camera. Whether you’re loud, quiet, artsy, sporty, or still finding your place, I’m here to help you feel comfortable, seen, and unapologetically yourself.

I grew up a country kid who fell in love with photography through 4-H, earned my degree in Professional Photography from Hawkeye Community College, and launched my first full-service studio back in 2006. Pretty quickly, I realized seniors were my people. In 2014, I built this brand to focus entirely on teens, grads, and headshots because nothing beats watching someone light up when they see themselves confidently in their photos.

I’m a Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman through Professional Photographers of America, with national awards for images and albums, because yes, I take the craft seriously. But I also believe in keeping the experience fun, modern, and stress-free for both seniors and parents. When I’m not shooting, you’ll find me teaching at photography conferences, playing a round of golf with my family, creating art at home, or nerding out over my newest favorite movie, book or record.
